Gabe Walker and his team try to rescue Hal Tucker and his girlfriend Sarah, stranded on a peak. Sarah's harness breaks loose and she falls, despite Gabe's effort to hold her. Hal blames Gabe, and Gabe leaves the ranger service.

The mid-air plane transfer (1993)

Treasury agent Richard Travers hijacks the plane carrying over 100 million dollars and tries to pass the three suitcases to Qualen's mercenaries on a second plane in mid-air. The transfer goes wrong and scatters the cases across the Rockies.

Stuntman Simon Crane crossed between two planes at 15,000 feet; the Italian article says the scene was shot in the US, with no specific place named.

The climb for the first suitcase (1993)

Qualen's gang forces Gabe, tethered by a rope, to climb a steep rock face to retrieve the first case. Hal warns him that Qualen will kill him, so Gabe cuts his own rope before he can be pulled down, and an avalanche follows.
