The Orb brings Quill to Xandar, where he tries to sell it. A fight with Gamora, Rocket and Groot ends in arrest by the Nova Corps.

Gardens by the Bay in Singapore helped inspire the look of the planet Xandar (the photo shows that inspiration, not a filming location). The Millennium Bridge opened on 10 June 2000, closed two days later because of swaying, and reopened on 22 February 2002.

The Kyln prison (2014)
The four are sent to the Kyln. Inmates turn on Gamora, and Drax, an inmate hunting her, becomes part of an escape plan.

A set of 350,000 pounds of steel, extended digitally by Framestore. A visit report from the 2013 set tour says the Kyln was built as a 360-degree physical set on a stage (studio not named).
Aboard the Milano (2014)
After the escape the crew flies toward the buyer. Distrust and arguments over the Orb and the money fill the ship.

Knowhere and the Collector (2014)
The crew arrives at Knowhere. The Collector examines the Orb and explains what it holds.
