Abe's last words in Florida (2016)

Jake rushes to his grandfather's house and finds Abe dying, his eyes gone. In his last words Abe sends him to an island and to a loop on September 3, 1943. This sets Jake on the path to a place he has only heard about in bedtime stories.

Set in Jake's Florida home town (unnamed in the film) — Jake's family home, his job at a store, and his grandfather Abe's house in Florida.

Suburban Tampa Bay stands in for the ordinary American life Jake is about to leave behind.

A shipwreck named in the island's guidebook, now a way out of 1943.
