Interpol agent Das and FBI profiler Hartley rush into the museum to stop a theft they were warned about. Hartley proves the egg on display is already gone, and the thief, Nolan Booth, runs.

Booth escapes to Bali, only to find Hartley and Interpol waiting at his home. The arrest is cut short when his rival, the Bishop, steals the egg and points the blame at Hartley.

Hartley is jailed in a remote Russian prison, in the same cell as Booth. The Bishop visits their cell, admits she framed him, and says she will hold two eggs within 48 hours, leaving Hartley with a choice about whom to trust.
